students standing in yellow

Maddox "MadDog" Potter, a 16-year-old from Kanawha County, was diagnosed with cancer a year ago. Maddox, a student at GW High School, and his friends and community are rallying to honor his courage and raise awareness for childhood cancer. In a heartfelt gesture, they are calling on students in Kanawha County and surrounding areas to wear yellow or gold this Friday in support of finding a cure for childhood cancer. Hurricane High School students are proudly wearing yellow to show their support for Maddox and the fight against childhood cancer. Let’s unite as a community to spread awareness and honor Maddox's strength and resilience.
