Friday, October 10, 2025 is a three-hour early release for students. Students will be released at 11:45. Please call the school with any questions or concerns.
Students who ride Bus 1208 will be 5-10 minutes late today, Monday, October 6, 2025. Bus 1208 is not running, but students will be on Bus 1505. Please call the school and ask for Dr. M if you have any questions.
Students can help celebrate by dressing in the Hurricane shirts, jerseys, cheer uniforms or red and black!

Please remember to turn in Grandparents' and Special Persons' Day forms by Friday, September 12, to help ensure we have adequate seating. Remember, each student is limited to two guests for the event. The event will be help on Thursday, September 18. Information regarding the event was distributed on the form.
A number of parent Schology accounts were made "inactive" as the county was conducting a yearly clear out of inactive users. Please check Schoology to see if your account was one of these. If it is, use the attached link and complete the form so the tech department can fix the issue. Our Goal is o keep communication between the school and families open.

Back to School Reminders:
1) The first day of school for students is, Thursday, August 21. Students can be dropped off at the school starting at 7:20 and must be in their classrooms before 7:45.
2) The students at Lakeside are eligible for one free school breakfast meal and one free school lunch meal daily.
3) Students in Grades Kindergarten through third grade who ride the bus must have an adult present when the students are dropped off after school.
4) Dismissal for Lakeside is at 2:45. Families who are picking students up at the school should be ensure the exits and entrances to the school are clear, they are parked in a safe area, and that the entrances to the businesses near the school are clear. This ensures that traffic remains flowing smoothly along Route 60.
