National Honor Society GPA eligibility letters were mailed Feb. 10. Letters were sent to current seniors, juniors, and sophomores who have a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.75 or higher. If you do not receive a letter and you believe you should have, please see Mrs. Fife or your counselor to verify your GPA.
Applications for consideration of new members are due to Mrs. Fife in Room 224 by noon, Thursday, February 26, 2026. If you were unable to attend the meeting to pick up an application, you can pick one up from Mrs. Fife in Room 224 during Grab and Go or at the beginning of lunch or between 3rd and 4th blocks.

Blood Drive: Tuesday, March 3
The American Red Cross will be having a Blood Drive on Tuesday, March 3 in the Aux. Gym. If you would like to donate blood, you must be at least 16 years old and weight at least 110 pounds. See Mrs. Fife in room 224 to sign up or message her on Schoology or email her at wendy.fife@k12.wv.us. You will receive a community service certificate for your senior portfolio for giving!
Animal Shelter Donation Drive now through Thursday, February 26
The National Honor Society is having a donation drive for the local animal shelter. If you are able to donate, we would appreciate it. Donations can be dropped off at Hurricane High School main entrance, or you can use the below Amazon link to purchase items and they will be shipped directly to us. Students at HHS will receive a certificate of donation to use in their portfolio. Students can drop off items to Mrs. Fife in Room 224 or place items in the basket with their names on them to receive their certificate. We appreciate any help you can give! Thanks in advance.
